Mackenzie Skapski Records First NHL Win
Mackenzie Skapski of the New York Rangers recorded his first NHL start and win on February 20, 2015. The Rangers faced off against the Buffalo Sabres and took the win by a score of 3 – 1. Skapski allowed a goal on the first shot of the game, 14 seconds in, but rebounded well and shut the door after that. He made 24 saves to preserve the win, and ear the victory in his first career start.
