Semyon Varlamov Gets His Fourth Shutout
Semyon Varlamov of the Colorado Avalanche recorded his fourth shutout of the season on January 30, 2015. Varlamov stopped all 23 shots that the Nashville Predators shot at him to help the Avalanche take the win. Varlamov’s shutout ties Jaroslav Halak at 5th in the league this season, and it brings his career total to 17 NHL shutouts.
