Alex Biega Scores First NHL Goal
Alex Biega of the Vancouver Canucks scored his first NHL goal on February 16, 2015. The Canucks battled against the Minnesota Wild and won by a score of 3 – 2, with Biega scoring the game winner. Biega is 26 and was drafted 147th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. The Vancouver defenseman scored his first goal in his first career NHL game.
