Antti Niemi Gets Fourth Shutout
Antti Niemi of the San Jose Sharks earned his fourth shutout of the season on January 31, 2015. The Sharks played the Chicago Blackhawks and won 2 – 0, with Niemi leading the way by stopping all 31 shots that came his way. Niemi hit the 30 shutout milestone as well with the shutout tonight, his second career shutout versus the Blackhawks. The win extended the Sharks’ winning streak to three games.
