The Canadiens faced off against the Washington Capitals, and Price stopped all 36 shots that he faced. He is now only 1 shutout away from hitting the 30 career NHL shutouts. The four shutouts puts him in a three way tie with Jaroslav Halak of the New York Islanders and Semyon Varlamov of the Colorado Avalanche, for fifth in the league for shutout leaders.
