Jonathan Quick Records Fourth Shutout
Jonathan Quick of the Los Angeles Kings recorded his fourth shutout of the season on February 24, 2015. The Kings blanked the Detroit Red Wings 1-0, with Quick stopping all 20 shots coming that came his way. The Kings were sitting out of playoff contention a couple weeks ago, but are now in 14th spot in the NHL, thanks to an eight game winning streak. Quick faced 20 shots, and stopped them all en route to his fourth shutout of the season. Quick was just named the first star of the week for the week ending February 23, 2015.
