Lee Stempniak of the New York Rangers reached 200 NHL assists on February 16, 2015. The Rangers battled against the New York Islanders for the 4th battle of New York and won by a score of 6 – 5. Stempniak is 32 years old and was drafted 148rd overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. The New York right winger is playing in his 10th NHL season, and has played for the Blues, Toronto Maple Leafs, Arizona Coyotes, Calgary Flames, Pittsburgh Penguins, and this season the Rangers. In 684 career NHL games, Stempniak has career stats of 157 goals and 200 assists for 357 points, and also has 247 penalty minutes.
