Marc-Andre Fleury of the Pittsburgh Penguins recorded his league-leading 8th shutout of the season on February 6, 2015. The Penguins shutout the Calgary Flames 4 – 0, with Fleury and Sidney Crosby leading the way. Fleury stopped all 21 shots he faced and Crosby added 2 goals and an assist. Fleury posted back-to-back shutouts against the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames, stopping all 43 shots that he faced, and set a franchise record in doing so. Fleury beat the Pittsburgh single-season franchise record of 7 shutouts, set in 1997-98 by Tom Barrasso. The shutout gives Fleury 36 career NHL shutouts.
