Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins reached 600 NHL games on February 11, 2015. The Penguins faced off against the Detroit Red Wings at home, and beat them by a score of 4 – 1. Crosby is 27 years old and was drafted first overall by Pittsburgh in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He has been playing for the Penguins for 10 seasons , including this one, and led them to a Stanley Cup in 2009. In 600 career NHL games, Crosby has scored 291 goals and 534 assists for 825 points.
