Thomas Vanek Reaches 300 NHL Assists
Thomas Vanek of the Minnesota Wild reached 300 NHL assists on January 29, 2015. The Wild beat the Calgary Flames by a score of 1 – 0. Vanek got an assist on the only goal by Zach Parise. Vanek is currently in his 10th NHL season. He played 9 seasons for the Buffalo Sabres, but was traded to the New York Islanders in the 9th season, and was later traded to Montreal in the same season.
