Cam Atkinson of the Columbus Blue Jackets scored his second career NHL hat trick on March 27, 2015. Columbus went head to head against the Chicago Blackhawks and were victorious, winning by a score of 5 – 2, with Atkinson leading the way. The win extended their winning streak to five games and road winning streak to seven. Atkinson now has 19 goals, and is only 2 goals away from matching his career high of 21 goals. One more goal this season will give him 20 goals in back to back seasons.
