Braden Holtby Records Seventh Shutout
Braden Holtby of the Washington Capitals recorded his seventh shutout of the season on March 1, 2015. The Capitals faced the Toronto Maple Leafs and shut them out by a score of 4 – 0. Holtby played a big part in the win, stopping all 32 shots that he faced. The win gives him 30 wins this season, which is a career high and the first time he has reached the 30 win plateau in his NHL career. The shutout is his 18th career shutout and puts him in second place in the league for most shutouts this season.
