On April 2, 2015, one game after he reached 50 goals to become only the 6th player in NHL history to have six 50-goals seasons, Alex Ovechkin was at it again. The Washington Capitals faced off against the Montreal Canadiens, and won 5 -4 in an exciting game, which needed a shootout. Ovechkin scored 2 goals, to propel the Capitals to the win. His first goal was his 473rd career NHL goal and 473rd goal for Washington, which broke the Franchise record of 472, set by Peter Bondra.
