Frederik Andersen Gets a Shutout
Frederik Andersen of the Anaheim Ducks recorded a shutout on January 27, 2015. Andersen stopped all 17 shots that the Vancouver Canucks shot his way, in his 39th start this NHL season. This was the third shutout of the season, as well as the third shutout of his career. Andersen played 28 games in the 2013 – 2014 season and posted 20 wins, but no shutouts. He already has 27 wins this season, which is second ind the NHL, and has a great chance to hit the 40 win mark this season.
